The Maxinkuckee Singers
The Maxinkuckee Singers originated as a vocal performance off-shoot of the Maxinkuckee Players, a civic theater group, and have been entertaining the central northern Indiana area for over 28 years now. Originating in Culver Indiana on the shores of beautiful Lake Maxinkuckee, the Singers perform seven public performances in the Culver/Plymouth area during December, offering a wide variety of Christmas selections. The group also performs, schedule permitting, upon invitation privately for various clubs and organizations who want fine quality entertainment at a special function. Their standard spring show consists of a variety of music enjoyable to audiences of all ages. The group does standards, comedy, sacred, pop, and medleys of familiar numbers, as well as some great new sounds too! During the spring season, they are proud to be able to offer six public performances during the month of May.
The group is composed of talent from various walks of life and all different ages, and the group is a not-for-profit organization. The talented singers consider their music an important part of their lives, but it is just a hobby for all involved.
A financial donation is made to the group at the time of the performance. The money contributions pay for costumes, sound and musical equipment, and music for the group. This musical unit considers itself a musical family. When an audience watches this group perform, it is evident that they love music and love each other. It just doesn't get much better than that!
All concerts are free admission and a free-will offering is accepted.
